Viktorie Langer, Radim Langer – Luny půl

Městské muzeum v Kralupech, Kralupy nad Vltavou

An exhibition of paintings by spouses Viktorie and Radim Langer in the newly renovated brewery building of the Kralupy nad Vltavou Municipal Museum. The opening ceremony takes place on May 1st at 5:00 PM in the new hall.

Viktorie Langer's works captivate through colour and scale, weaving cultural and spiritual symbols into compositions that evoke the atmosphere of poetry or musical composition. Her art explores abstraction, imagination, and philosophical themes of unity, consciousness, and eternity. Over time, she has expanded her technical practice from oil painting to dyeing free textiles and assembling small objects from found materials.

Radim Langer's work is characterized by organic transformation and tension between different approaches—from analytical, almost forensic observation to understanding the image as living reality, with strong emphasis on colour and the phenomenon of light. His painting practice grows from a deep relationship with craft, technical refinement, and openness to experimentation. He views the image as an autonomous, vital organism rather than merely a vehicle for motif. His work reflects a fascination with the spirituality of nature, with motifs often drawn from the organic world, from animal and human symbols.
