Martin Mrkva - Immortal

An exhibition of contemporary art focused on the paintings of Martin Mrkva. The works engage with life through an awareness of its finitude - captured human bodies, faces and flowers emerge from dark grounds as something temporary, subject to time, decay and inevitable extinction. The exhibition is not about death, but about life observed from a vantage point where its end is visible.
