So the Angels Don't Fly Away

The Municipal Museum in Kralupy nad Vltavou presents an exhibition of carved puppets by artist Eva Hellerová Hodinkova, who performs under the name Chodící dřevo (Walking Wood), marking the 10th anniversary of Czech and Slovak puppetry's inscription on UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage. The exhibition is part of the Museum Night with Surprises programme within the city-wide celebrations of Kralupy Day 2026. Visitors can enjoy not only the puppet exhibition but also a workshop for collaborative puppet-making, a happening with a procession through the city, and theatrical performances. Angel wings and costumes are welcome.
