About the venue
KD Delta is a four-storey brutalist building from 1982 on the bank of the Dyje river, designed by Milan Steinhauser of Stavoprojekt Brno. It was originally built as the in-house cultural centre of the Gumotex factory; after 1989 it was run by the Chemical Workers' Union, and since 2004 it has been privately owned. The main theatre hall seats 417, while the estrade hall holds up to 500 standing. The programme covers concerts, theatre, balls and stand-up comedy.
