About the venue

The Společenský dům (community centre) in Hustopeče is the main cultural venue of this South Moravian wine town, reopened after a full renovation in July 1971. It hosts concerts, theatre performances, balls and other public events. An open-air amphitheatre was built behind the building for summer use. The venue is run by Centrum volného času Hustopeče, formed in 2004 by merging several municipal cultural facilities.
