The second edition of Organum Olomucensis features organists from the Czech Republic and Austria performing on the renowned Engler organ in Olomouc's Church of St. Maurice.
The Church of St. Maurice is a Gothic three-naved parish church in the centre of Olomouc, first documented in 1257. With a capacity of 4,000 worshippers, it is the largest Gothic sanctuary in Moravia and has been a National Cultural Monument since 1995. The interior is dominated by the Baroque organ built by Michael Engler (1730–1745), with 5 manuals and 7,884 pipes, ranking among the largest organs in Central Europe. The International Organ Festival is held here every September, and the southern tower is open to visitors as a lookout.
