The Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra will perform in the Church of St. Maurice under the baton of Ondřej Vrabec. Michaela Káčerková will be featured at the organ.

The programme includes: Jaroslav Řídký - Serenade for Strings, Zdeněk Lukáš - Canti for Strings and Canto corale, Petr Eben - Sinfonia gregoriana (2nd and 4th movements) and Arthur Honegger - Symphony No. 3 "Liturgical".

About the venue: Kostel sv. Mořice

The Church of St. Maurice is a Gothic three-naved parish church in the centre of Olomouc, first documented in 1257. With a capacity of 4,000 worshippers, it is the largest Gothic sanctuary in Moravia and has been a National Cultural Monument since 1995. The interior is dominated by the Baroque organ built by Michael Engler (1730–1745), with 5 manuals and 7,884 pipes, ranking among the largest organs in Central Europe. The International Organ Festival is held here every September, and the southern tower is open to visitors as a lookout.
