The opera gala evening is one of the festival's highlights. Mezzo-soprano Justina Gringytė will perform accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Robert Trevino, chief conductor of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra.

The programme will feature arias from the operas Carmen (Bizet), Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), and Aida (Verdi).

KD Slavie is a cultural and creative centre on the bank of the Malše river, close to the historic centre of České Budějovice. The Neo-Renaissance building dates from 1871–1872 and is a listed cultural monument.
