The South Moravian Museum in Znojmo is one of the oldest museums in Moravia, housed in the town's historic centre. Its collections span archaeology, natural history and the regional history of the Znojmo area, from prehistory through the Middle Ages to modern times. The museum also manages exhibitions in other local landmarks, including the Romanesque rotunda of St Catherine at Znojmo Castle.
