Umakart is an independent student-run shopwindow gallery on Lidická street in Brno, founded in 2008 by FaVU graduate Karin Písaříková. It occupies the display window of an office building, so it stays open around the clock - free of charge and without a guard. The programme focuses on video art, installations and performances by students and graduates of FaVU (Brno University of Technology's Faculty of Fine Arts), with occasional international shows.

Veronika Šavarová's exhibition of paintings and objects examines space, materiality, and our attachment to possessions. It merges spatial perception research with a critique of accumulation and a fresh perspective on plants as independent beings.
