An exhibition of paintings and objects exploring space, materiality, and our relationship to things. Veronika Šavarová combines research into spatial perception with a reflection on the problematic nature of accumulation and a reconceptualization of our relationship to plants as autonomous entities.

About the venue: Umakart Gallery

Umakart is an independent student-run shopwindow gallery on Lidická street in Brno, founded in 2008 by FaVU graduate Karin Písaříková. It occupies the display window of an office building, so it stays open around the clock - free of charge and without a guard. The programme focuses on video art, installations and performances by students and graduates of FaVU (Brno University of Technology's Faculty of Fine Arts), with occasional international shows.
