Landscapes in which we predominantly live among signs. The installation reflects the layering of various sign and language systems through a combination of calligraphic drawings and concrete poetry.

About the venue: Umakart Gallery

Umakart is an independent student-run shopwindow gallery on Lidická street in Brno, founded in 2008 by FaVU graduate Karin Písaříková. It occupies the display window of an office building, so it stays open around the clock - free of charge and without a guard. The programme focuses on video art, installations and performances by students and graduates of FaVU (Brno University of Technology's Faculty of Fine Arts), with occasional international shows.
