Galerie Sýpka is located in the historic centre of Valašské Meziříčí within the grounds of Žerotín Castle. The building dates from the last third of the 17th century and acquired its Baroque-Classicist appearance in the second half of the 18th century. Following a revitalisation completed in 2006, the gallery was officially opened in January 2007. It focuses on contemporary fine art, young artists and university art studios, hosting at least six exhibitions per year.
