Bzukot skolnich zahrad
An event exploring the history and contemporary role of school gardens in our connection to nature.
This 6.7-hectare English landscape park adjoins the Empire-style Kinský château and was laid out around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries on the site of a former orchard. It is now a listed monument owned by the town. The grounds include an open-air amphitheatre used for summer events, playgrounds, and a 2012 replica of Dušan Jurkovič's carved wooden pavilion. A nature trail with ten stops at notable trees winds through the park.
