About the venue

The Valašské Meziříčí municipal cultural centre is housed in the historic Žerotín Castle, adapted for use as a city arts venue. Its main multi-purpose hall seats 310 and hosts theatre performances, concerts and balls. The complex also includes the M-klub in the basement (150 seats), Galerie Kaple, Galerie Sýpka, a museum and gallery centre, and an open-air amphitheatre by Kinský Castle. The centre organises the International Poetry Festival and the multi-genre Valašský špalíček festival.
