About the venue

Bufet Kačák is an outdoor summer venue with a covered dance floor next to the Vejsplachy natural swimming pond on the western edge of Vrchlabí. The pond, known locally as Kačák, dates back to the early 20th century when it was used for duck farming - hence the name. The venue hosts concerts and an annual open-air festival featuring Czech bands and revival acts.
