T. G. Masaryk Square

Vrchlabí

About the venue

Náměstí T. G. Masaryka is the second historic square in Vrchlabí. It is dominated by a Baroque town hall with a clock tower in the gable, completed by builder Jan Jiří Seehak in 1737 - one of the first stone buildings in the town. In 1927 the building was given a Neo-Renaissance appearance to a design by architect Hans Knoll; the ground floor now houses the Regional Tourist Information Centre. The square doubles as an open-air stage for summer events such as the Krkonošské slavnosti festival, the Folklore Echoes and the Živé náměstí series.
