Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Ten years after the failed attempt to kill Sarah Connor, a new Terminator arrives from the future - the T-1000 model - this time with the goal of eliminating her son John. In 2029, adult Connor sends an older T-800 Terminator back in time to protect him.

Both machines independently search for young John. He soon discovers that the T-800 is programmed as his protector, and together they free Sarah from a psychiatric hospital where she is being treated for alleged schizophrenia. The T-800 explains to them both what the future holds - and that it can be changed. While all this unfolds, the heroes are pursued by a relentless and seemingly indestructible T-1000.
