Beyond Terminator, she earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role as Catherine Chandler in Beauty and the Beast (1987-1990). In recent years she has returned to television in Resident Alien (2021-2025) and the final fifth season of Stranger Things (2025).
Hamilton appeared in a cameo role in the premiere of the fourth season of Dark Winds on AMC as Barbara Sena, the wife of a former sheriff.
