Closing Coronation Gala Concert

The closing gala concert of the Znojmo Music Festival will be presented by the SILENTIUM! ensemble under the direction of Andreas Scholl, who will make his conducting debut here. The programme features works by G. F. Handel, J. D. Zelenka and J. J. Fux — composers connected to the European tradition of music for crowned heads.

Handel's Zadok the Priest, Zelenka's Te Deum and Fux's Sinfonia "Turcaria" will be performed. The concert is also part of the celebrations marking 800 years of the city of Znojmo.
