Meeting with American WWII Veterans in Plzeň

Three World War II veterans aged 100 to 105 will visit the Czech Republic in late May. A public meeting will take place on May 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Plzeň Bishop's Office building on Náměstí Republiky in Plzeň. The veterans will share authentic stories from 1944–1945, when they participated in the liberation of Europe and Czechoslovakia.

– Arnold Strauch (86th Infantry Division)
Following the meeting, there will be a meet & greet where visitors can shake hands with the veterans, take photos together, or purchase special signed cards with autographs. Seating is limited. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to cover the costs of the veterans' travel throughout the Czech Republic.
