Melody of Falling Leaves

Chamber concert by the ensemble Musica Angelica at the Church of St. Bartholomew in Napajedla. Two performers will take the stage: Magdaléna Malaníková (vocals) and Lucie Anna Fajkusová (harp).

Magdaléna Malaníková has been devoted to music since childhood - she started in a choir and has been performing with ensembles of various genres since the age of seventeen. She has collaborated with Avion Big Band and the Zlín City Brass Orchestra. Together with guitarist Petr "Kohta" Kochaníček, she won the regional round of the Porta festival in 2022 and advanced to the national final in Řevnice. Lucie Anna Fajkusová studied harp at the Prague Conservatory, performed with the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic, and has international experience. In 2015 she founded the ensemble Zlínské harfy and is also active in music education.

The programme features sacred compositions, traditional songs, melodic ballads, and original works by Musica Angelica. Pieces include Pie Jesu (Andrew Lloyd Webber), You Are So Beautiful (Joe Cocker), I Don't Know How to Love Him (Andrew Lloyd Webber), Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton), Jednoho dne se vrátíš (Ennio Morricone), and Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen).
