Laibach

Fléda, Brno

Slovenian industrial legend Laibach brings their new album MUSICK to Brno's Fléda on October 15.

Laibach hails from the Slovenian city of Trbovlje and has been known since 1980 for their provocative aesthetic combining totalitarian symbolism, industrial sound, and conceptual art. Their work balances on the edge between critique and appropriation of authoritarian elements. They move through industrial and experimental rock, but have also explored electronics, orchestral arrangements, and avant-garde pop. They gained fame partly through reinterpretations of well-known songs – for example, their reworked album Let It Be by The Beatles.

Laibach are part of the broader artistic collective Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK), whose activities include visual art, theatre, and conceptual projects dealing with themes of identity and national symbolism.
