Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

The commercially successful sequel to Mamma Mia! arrived in 2018 and tells two intertwined stories at once.

The first takes viewers back to when Donna (Meryl Streep and Lily James) was a fresh university graduate eager to explore the world - unaware that three young men on a Greek island would change her life forever. The second story unfolds ten years after the events of the first film: Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is planning a grand reopening of her family's hotel on Kalokairi, drawing together all the "usual suspects," including her three fathers (Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård).

Both narratives are woven together with songs by ABBA - some in fresh arrangements of tracks from the original film, others among the band's greatest hits that didn't make the first cut.
