Pierce Brosnan (born 16 May 1953, Drogheda, Ireland) is an Irish-American actor best known for playing James Bond in four films between 1995 and 2002, starting with GoldenEye. He first rose to fame in the TV series Remington Steele (1982-1987) and has since worked across genres - from the Mamma Mia! musicals to the DC film Black Adam. He also serves as the English narrator for the multimedia show VIVALDIANNO Shining Venice.
