God Save the Drama Queen: Queen*

An original theatrical production that combines theatrical improvisation with other theatrical forms, giving audiences the opportunity to enter the action, share their own opinions, and influence the final shape of the performance.

In 1587, the conflict between two queens culminated in the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots - Elizabeth I had no choice. Queen* takes this tragic story as a starting point for a discussion about women in power: what must a woman go through to gain and maintain power? The production tells of rivalry and hidden kinship, speaks of objectification and systemic pressure, and takes the audience into an absurd electoral game show.

The performance contains vulgarisms and stroboscopic effects. Recommended age 15+.
