Description was written before the event

The thirteenth edition of the contemporary dance, new circus, and physical theatre festival Move Fest Ostrava takes place from 23 to 28 September 2026.

This year's theme is Placebo. The Invisible Power of Expectation - the festival explores how the human mind, expectations, and beliefs shape us. How change can arrive quietly - in a single glance, a single movement, a single question.

Move Fest Ostrava has spent thirteen years creating a space for contemporary performance art that is not merely an aesthetic experience, but also an impulse for reflection.

Interested visitors can secure access to all festival performances at a special price through Movenek - for themselves and their loved ones.
