Communing with the Spirit of Alfred Jarry

Brno Contemporary Orchestra takes the stage at Mosilana Hub Brno on Saturday, 19 September 2026 with oBCOování s dUCHEM Alfreda Jarryho. The project explores improvisation and real-time composition through works by Pavel Zlámail, Roman Haubenstock-Ramati, Gavin Bryars and other composers, inspired by the provocative spirit of French dramatist Alfred Jarry. Mosilana Hub, housed in a former textile factory, provides an industrial setting suited to experimental music. The orchestra launches its Czech tour of three concerts, continuing in October and November at other Brno venues.
