Democracy in the 21st Century: Will It Retreat or Endure?

The seventh edition of a conference on current social issues. Foreign academics and experts present, with a format that includes discussion among journalists, politicians, representatives of the non-profit sector, and the general public.

This year's subtitle "Will It Retreat or Endure?" responds to the challenges facing contemporary democracy - nationalism, restrictions on academic freedom, the situation in Hungary, disinformation, and freedom of speech.

The symposium takes place in the premises of the Monastery of St. James the Minor.
