Alexandr Starý (b. 1983) is a Czech pianist from Ostrava, where he trained at the Janáček Conservatory under Marta Toaderová before graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Ostrava, where he now works as a répétiteur. Alongside the classical canon, he performs film-music tributes across Europe - most notably programmes dedicated to Ludovico Einaudi as a member of the Petrof ART Family. He has won prizes at several international competitions, including the Beethoven Competition in Hradec nad Moravicí and the Chopin Competition in Mariánské Lázně.
