Metastavy

Metastavy returns to performing after two years, taking the stage on September 10 in Ostrava.

Metastavy is a band featuring Anna Hokešová, Ursula Sereghy, Ashley Abrman, Marek Pach, and Nodin Péči. Their music blends neosoul, jazz, hip-hop, and poetry. Anna Hokešová's lyrics explore growing up in the city, love, and living life with dreams. The music guides listeners to the borderline between everyday reality and the haze of days, where traffic lights, neon shop windows, and street lamps shine through. Faces, trams, and hazy memories of younger versions of the world emerge from the tones. Metastavy formed in 2018 and gained recognition with their debut album "Až vyrostu" in 2019 and their second album "Žhnoucí ticho" released in 2023.
