Anna Hokešová is the vocalist, keyboardist and lyricist of the Prague band Metastavy, which she co-founded in 2018. The band blends neo-soul, jazz and hip-hop with her poetry-inflected lyrics, delivered in a style that sits somewhere between singing and spoken word. With Metastavy she has released two albums - the debut *Až vyrostu* (2019), nominated for the Vinyla Award in the Discovery of the Year category, and *Žhnoucí ticho* (2023). She has also performed as part of the live lineup of the project Čáry života.
Metastavy will return to the stage after a two-year break on September 17, 2026 at Nové Cvernovce in Bratislava.
The band played their last concert before the announced break on June 14, 2024 at MeetFactory in Prague.
