Anna Hokešová is the vocalist, keyboardist, and lyricist of the Prague band Metastavy. Her lyrics are gently spoken rather than rapped, and she writes candidly from personal experience. The debut album *Až vyrostu* (2019) captured the feelings of a young person trying to survive city life and earned a Vinyla Award nomination for Best Newcomer. The second album, *Žhnoucí ticho*, followed in 2023.
Metastavy returns to the stage after a two-year break. This five-piece band fuses neosoul, jazz, hip-hop, and poetry with lyrics about coming of age, love, and dreams.
