Festival Planet Brno 2026 takes place in two sessions: July 6-12 and August 3-9, 2026 in the park on Kraví hora.

The programme features inflatable ten-metre models of celestial bodies, projections in the planetarium hall, and an open-air cinema with sci-fi films.

About the venue: Hvězdárna a planetárium Brno

Brno Observatory and Planetarium is a contributory organisation of the City of Brno, opened in 1954 in a park on Kraví hora hill. After a major reconstruction in 2010-2011 designed by architect Martin Rudiš, the complex now houses a digitarium with a 17-metre projection dome, an exploratorium, a small planetarium, an observation deck, and a science walk. Alongside astronomy, the venue popularises physics, geology, chemistry and other natural sciences through interactive shows, exhibitions, and concerts.
