TrutnOFF 2026

The TrutnOFF Open Air Festival 2026 will take place from 13 to 16 August at its traditional venue Na Bojišti in Trutnov. This edition marks 42 years since the festival's founding and is dedicated to Václav Havel and his unrealised 90th birthday.

Over 60 bands will perform at the four-day Pow-wow. Headliners include stadium rockers Lucie making their first appearance, New York gypsy-punks Gogol Bordello, underground legends Plastic People of the Universe, Jasná Páka with David Koller and Dáda Albrecht, punk legend Visací zámek, metal rapper Redzed, revived Garage with "divine" Tony, Ondřej Havelka with his Melody Makers orchestra, and Ventolin in their festival debut.

Beyond music, the programme features ecumenical open-air services, debates on cultural and social topics, exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, a children's camp with creative workshops, a planetarium, and a vegetarian dining hall. The festival is organised without state subsidies or multinational sponsors and is considered the oldest festival of its kind in the country – its roots trace back to 1984, when the first editions were dispersed by the State Security.
