About
Ventolin is the electronic project of David Doubek (born 1971, Rakovník), a cultural anthropologist and lecturer at Charles University in Prague. Active since 2007, he performs entirely on hardware - analogue synthesizers, old Akai samplers and archaic drum machines, with no laptop on stage. His 2017 album Vitajte and its single Disco Science brought him wider recognition; his latest album Všechno nejlepší appeared in February 2025.

Ventolin released the album Všechno nejlepší on February 21, 2025 on the Bumbum Satori label - on vinyl, CD and digitally.
- 2025-03
The album release party for Všechno nejlepší took place on March 28 at the Prague club ARCHA+ and on April 4 at the Brno club Flédě.
- 2025-07
Ventolin performed at the Pohoda 2025 festival in Trenčín, where he presented songs from his new album.
- 2026-léto
For summer 2026, Ventolin has a packed festival schedule - including Rock for People, Colours of Ostrava, Pohoda Festival in Trenčín and Trutnoff.
