Z. Czendlik and M. V. Kopecká - In the Rhythm of Dance — Velký sál Záložny, Litovel

She describes herself as rather introverted, while he is a charming rebel. He was raised in faith, she found her way to it in adulthood. Both followed their hearts and became spiritual leaders. She has met the Pope twice in person; he still longs for that encounter. She finds rest in galleries and exhibitions, while he enjoys watching sports broadcasts. Though she was a finalist on the TV show Stardance and he claims to have no talent for dancing, they share a common worldview: that life should be a dance, unfolding in different rhythms, and that dancing through life is better than merely drifting through it.

Martina Viktorie Kopecká is a pastor of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, a goodwill ambassador since 2021, psychotherapist, and crisis interventionist. She studied theology at Charles University, followed by psychology and special education. Working in a large corporation helped her discover what she did not want in life, leading her to seek her own path. Theology became her great love, and she decided to follow her heart and become a spiritual leader. As a pastor, she serves God and people-baptizing, marrying, conducting funerals, and leading services. Since 2013, she has been a member of the central executive committee of the World Council of Churches. Pope Francis honored her for her ecumenical work with a medal and invited her to participate in a bishops' synod in the Vatican as the only ordained woman clergy present. She continues to educate herself, expand her horizons, and is learning to ride a bicycle. An avid reader of all genres, she writes a blog about life as a modern pastor, "Diary of a Pastor," which was published as a book. In autumn 2023, another book titled "Confession of a Pastor" was released, followed by "Song of Songs." She is also a co-author of "Christmas Traditions" and "Spring Traditions." In 2021, she became a finalist on the Czech TV show Stardance, but as she says: "fortunately I didn't win." Since 2025, she has been hosting a program on Czech Radio 2 called "Sundays."
