Waltari (FIN) — Fléda, Brno

Finnish crossover legends Waltari arrive at Brno's Fléda club on October 4th with their new album Nations' Neurosis - a powerful and energetic record full of emotion, experimentation, and the musical freedom the band is renowned for. Expect an intense show at the intersection of metal, rock, industrial, and alternative, driven by a new lineup and the unrelenting creativity of charismatic frontman Kärtsy Hatakka.

Waltari have never been a band bound by rules. With Nations' Neurosis, they reaffirm that their distinctive blend of musical freedom, bold experimentation, and uncompromising expression is more relevant than ever. At the heart of Waltari's world stands Kärtsy Hatakka - the band's mind and driving force. On the new record, he contributed not only as vocalist and bassist, but also as programmer, keyboardist, and percussionist. During the album's creation, however, he went through a difficult personal period - among other things, he lost his mother while witnessing a world increasingly descending into chaos and conflict. The frustration and intense emotions of this time resonate in every track of Nations' Neurosis, making it one of the most intense and thought-provoking albums in Waltari's history.

The record was created in three Finnish studios with production by Aleksanteri Kuosa alongside Waltari (except for two of the fifteen tracks). The revamped lineup brings fresh energy. Guitarists Eero Nykänen and Jakke Setälä, along with drummer Ville Vehviläinen, have left a distinct mark on the album. Their combined talent and Waltari's signature musical philosophy push the band to new heights. The result is a record that is both raw and refined, aggressive yet melodic - exactly what Waltari fans expect. From the beginning to now, Waltari remain true to diversity, creativity, and boundary-breaking.
