MUDr. Jan Hnízdil, internist and rehabilitation physician (born 1958), is the author of numerous books including "My Patients", "The Disease Charmer", "Stories of Ordinary Healing", "How Not to Become a Patient", "Back Pain: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know But Were Afraid to Ask", and "Everyone Is a Psychopath Except Me, I'm an Airplane", among others. In 2013 he founded Hnízdo zdraví (Health's Nest), a centre for integrated psychosomatic medicine. He is a recipient of the Golden Erratic Boulder award from the Czech Skeptics Club Sisyphus (2015). The event includes a book sale and author signing.
