Yoga Festival at Hogo Fogo

The fourth edition of the yoga festival at Hogo Fogo theatre in Drážkov offers a full-day programme with five classes and a lecture.

Programme:

8:30 - 9:45 PETRA PIKKELOVÁ - Jivamukti Yoga: Spiritual Warrior
The most popular Jivamukti yoga class at a faster pace. A structured sequence including the Magic Ten series, om chanting, intention setting, sun salutations, standing and balancing poses, twists, backbends, forward folds, inversions, a short meditation and final relaxation.

10:00 - 11:15 NIKOL MAIO - Yoga for Healthy Fascia with Foam Roller in the Earth Element
A class focused on the front surface line of the body, work with foam rollers, fascial movements and the principle of resilience. Also includes conscious backbends, sound and intuitive movement.

11:30 - 12:45 DARA RAKOVČÍK - Yoga in Darkness
The class begins by candlelight, with candles gradually extinguished. In darkness, attention shifts to touch, hearing, smell and breath.

12:45 - 14:15 Lunch break

14:15 - 15:30 SIMONA TUCHTASUNOVÁ - Lecture and Workshop: Yoga Nidra
An introduction to yoga nidra technique in historical context, exploring the theme of pratyahara, lucid dreaming and work with inner imagery. After the theoretical part, a deep practice with visualization follows.

15:45 - 17:15 LUCIE HUŘÍKOVÁ - Bhakti Flow + Kirtan to Close
A class connecting body, mind and soul with an emphasis on bhakti yoga, concluded with kirtan.
