Laundresses

MOVE + summer + Farská zahrada – a guarantee of performances that entertain both children and adults. Following last year's "Pointe Lesson", the Holektiv ensemble returns to Ostrava with a new production, "Laundresses", presented in collaboration with the DANCE PRAGUE festival as part of the "Summer in the Centre" programme.

"Laundresses" is a new circus production in which Holektiv celebrates its tenth anniversary with the return of the original trio – Andrey Vykysalá, Karolína Křížková and Eva Stará. In a laundry room full of steam, wet clothes and drying lines, more than shirts are being washed – memories are laundered, old sins are scrubbed away, and between the sheets swirl stories that have accumulated over the years.

The performance combines dance, acrobatics and grotesque humour and is recommended for children from 4 years old.
