Project Hail Mary

Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) awakens aboard a spacecraft light-years from home with no memory of who he is or how he got there.

When his memory returns, he discovers his mission: solve the mystery of a mysterious substance causing the Sun to fade. He must use his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from destruction – and thanks to an unexpected friendship, he may not have to do it alone.
