Christopher Miller (born September 23, 1975, in Everett, Washington) is an American director, screenwriter, and producer who has worked as a creative duo with Phil Lord since they met at Dartmouth College. Together they built the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Lego Movie, and Spider-Verse franchises, winning an Oscar for Best Animated Feature for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Their March 2026 sci-fi film Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, became one of the year's biggest box-office hits with over $675 million worldwide.
