Festival Milion tónů pro demokracii Nové Město na Moravě

The multi-genre festival Milion tónů pro demokracii Nové Město na Moravě takes place this year as its 1st edition in the courtyard of Horácká galerie in Nové Město na Moravě (https://www.horackagalerie.cz/). The previous, inaugural edition was held in 2025 on the ski slope below Harusák. The festival takes place in any weather.

The programme includes music, slam poetry, and debate. Performing on stage: Garage & Tony Ducháček, Starci na chmelu, Slam Poetry Show (https://www.slampoetry.cz/), Neúspěšný atlet (www.neuspesnyatlet.cz), Časovač, and Atomy Nevadí. The programme also features a debate with Natália Kocábová.

The festival was created as a non-profit civic initiative to support democratic values through culture. After covering costs, proceeds go to the Milion chvilek pro demokracii association and a selected charitable project in Nové Město na Moravě. Catering is provided by Krystal restaurace.
