Slam Poetry Show is a live performance format featuring top Czech slam poets from the Slam Poetry CZ platform, active since 2003. A trio or quartet of performers tours the country on demand, presenting poetry as an interactive theatrical show - audiences score, engage and feed energy back to the stage, with facial expression, movement and rhythm all in play. In April 2024, platform founder and producer Tomáš T. Kůs received the Magnesia Litera Award for Outstanding Contribution to Book Culture, recognising two decades of building the genre and its community. The Czech slam scene is now considered one of the largest and most respected in Europe.
Slam Poetry CZ performed at the Rock for People 2026 festival with an exhibition set featuring Anatol Svahilec, Tyč, and Holy Viktorie.
At the Prague Rock Café, a presentation of the best texts collection for 2025 took place with the participation of 20 slam poets; the event was co-financed by the City of Prague.
Slam Poetry Show CZ/PL took place at ČteFesT in Cieszyn - a Czech-Polish competition of four slam poets before a live audience.
At the ČteFesT festival in Třinec, Anatol Svahilec, Dr. Filipitch, Tyč, and Sofie performed on the roof of the partner space STING Reality.
