The 34th edition of the MUZIKA music festival takes place at the Natural Theatre in Hrádek.

Performing on stage: Porty award winner, Gladly SW, Sychravo, COP, Jindra Kejak, Přelet MS, Madam, Kvintet Písek, and Lehká Noha.

About the venue: Natural Theatre

Přírodní divadlo in Hrádek near Rokycany is an open-air amphitheatre set in woodland, also known as Areál lesního divadla. It hosts concerts, outdoor film screenings and larger festivals - most notably the annual Muzika festival, one of the biggest folk and country events in western Bohemia. The site has a small stage for more intimate performances as well as space for large open-air shows. From Rokycany, take the train towards Mirošov and get off at Hrádek u Rokycan; the amphitheatre is about 700 m on foot from the stop.

The Kladno quartet - Procházka, Mareček, Šmejkal and Fejtek - plays tramping folk and country from their own songbook. Their track Vítr nad Berounkou beat over 320 rivals in the Country Radio contest and launched the band onto the Czech country scene.

About: Cop

COP is a Czech bluegrass band from Plzeň, founded in 1978. The group is led by singer and guitarist Miroslav "Míša" Leicht and has won the prestigious Porta festival three times (1980, 1981, 1987). In 2002 they received the Anděl award in the Folk & Country category. They remain one of the most active and enduring acts on the Czech folk and bluegrass scene.

A native of the Chomutov region, Kejak has been writing and performing folk since 1996, and his Porta win plus a BMG Ariola debut cemented his place in Czech folk. His songs Uspávanka and Vizovice are staples of the festival circuit.

About: Lehká Noha

Lehká Noha is a band from Tvarožná in South Moravia, playing since 1994. Their sound blends rhythm & blues with rock, Cajun, swing and reggae in a style so distinctive it defies easy labeling. The group is led by singer-guitarist Petr Hradečný, who writes most of the material. After nearly two decades of silence, they released the album Peruánskej balzám in 2020.
