Petr Tomeček / Pan's Flute in Full Splendour

Petr Tomeček will perform at the Church of the Holy Spirit Concert Hall in Krnov with a programme dedicated to Pan's flute. Well-known melodies spanning multiple genres will be featured — including "Love Story", music from the film "Once Upon a Time in the West" and themes from "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe". Between pieces, Tomeček will share stories about Pan's flute and his personal journey with the instrument.

Petr Tomeček studied trumpet at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and performed with the Prague Castle Guard Band, the National Theatre of Moravia-Silesia and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. He studied Pan's flute under Liselotte Rokyta and Ulrich Herkenhoffer, and met personally with and maintained contact with Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir. His repertoire blends classical music with film melodies, musical theatre themes and spiritual compositions. He performs regularly throughout the Czech Republic and abroad.
