Jazz Open Ostrava 2026 celebrates its 20th anniversary and runs from 2 to 18 June 2026 across several Ostrava venues. The Festival Pass grants access to all festival events — club concerts and the main open-air festival evening in the courtyard of Slezskoostravský Castle.
The programme includes a club concert by Marta Kloučková and David Dorůžka (10 June at 19:30, Studio ČRo Ostrava), The Next Movement's birthday party (12 June at 19:00, Fabric club), and the closing evening at Slezskoostravský Castle (18 June at 19:00).
Headliners of the closing evening are multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Justin-Lee Schultz Band — a protégé of Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder, performing in the Czech Republic for the first time — and Boris Band Combination featuring pianist Boris Urbánek, Polish saxophonist Marcin Żupański, and guitarist Vít Rokyta. The evening will also feature the Matyáš Papp trio with Milan Angelo Novák.
The festival has been running since 2006 and consistently brings together international projects, the local scene, and emerging talent through the Jazz Juniors platform.
