Justin-Lee Schultz is a South African-born multi-instrumentalist and singer, raised in the US after moving from Johannesburg in 2015. Still in his teens, he plays piano, guitar, bass, trumpet and harpejji across jazz, R&B and soul. His debut album Gruv Kid (2020) reached the Billboard Contemporary Jazz top 10, and his second record Just In The Moment followed in 2023 on Shanachie Entertainment. Both Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder have praised his playing.
