Organ concert performed by Václav Metoděj Uhlíř and Václav Uhlíř — both performers play together on the organ of the Hejnice Basilica, with one controlling the manuals and the other the pedals, or alternating in various combinations.
Václav Uhlíř is the organist of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, a teacher at the Prague Conservatory, and titular organist and regent at the Royal Collegiate Chapter on Prague's Vyšehrad, where he co-founded and artistically directs the international Organ Vyšehrad festival. The programme will be announced.
The concert takes place as part of the Dvořák Festival in the Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hejnice, one of the most significant Marian pilgrimage sites in Bohemia. Admission: 150 CZK, tickets available in advance at smsticket.cz.
