The 33rd edition of the Újezdské babí léto folk and country music festival takes place in the natural grounds of the volunteer fire brigade in Dolní Újezd.

The programme starts on Friday, 21 August 2026 at 19:00 and continues on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at 13:00.

About the venue: Natural Area of the Volunteer Fire Brigade

An open-air natural ground owned by the volunteer fire brigade, set in the valley of the Desná stream right next to the local swimming pool. It serves mainly as the venue for the annual two-day Újezdské babí léto festival, which focuses on folk, country, bluegrass and tramp music and ranks among the best-known events of its kind in the Pardubice Region. The adjacent pool area doubles as a tent camp during the festival.

About: Cop

COP is a Czech bluegrass band from Plzeň, founded in 1978. The group is led by singer and guitarist Miroslav "Míša" Leicht and has won the prestigious Porta festival three times (1980, 1981, 1987). In 2002 they received the Anděl award in the Folk & Country category. They remain one of the most active and enduring acts on the Czech folk and bluegrass scene.
